Andasibe Hotel

Anakao Ocean Lodge

There are 7 sea front chalets lined along the coast and 13 sea view chalets a little higher up on top of a dune, predictably with incredible sea views! The 3 family chalets and the suite are all on the sea front.
Chalets are all very bright, with large inviting windows welcoming in the beautiful panoramic views of the sea. The décor has been kept simple, using natural woods. The chalets themselves are in an unusual octagonal shape, made from white stone and thatched straw roofs, made to deliberately guarantee natural ventilation.
Despite this, there is individually controlled air conditioning as well. There is a comfy seating area which can be transformed into a third bed if necessary and a small passageway leading to the bathroom. Other facilities include a mosquito net, strong box, mini bar and hairdryer. All chalets have a small private terrace.
Anjajavy Lodge
Anjajavy Lodge is one of the top luxury lodges in Madagascar. Relax in luxury at the end of your holiday with pristine beaches and a great diversity of wildlife in the accompanying nature reserve. Berenty Lodge
Berenty Lodge is located in the spiny desert in Berenty Reserve consisting of spacious wooden chalets with en-suite bathrooms.
The lodge also has a pleasant tea garden where afternoons can be spent watching the mischievous ring tailed lemurs or dancing sifakas at play; alternatively one can visit the museum which displays the local artefacts and history of the region.
The lodge is basic but its location in the heart of the private nature reserve boasts one of the best opportunities to observe lemurs up-close. Berenty Lodge offers a chance to get an insight into the local Antandroy culture of the region.
Black Lemur Camp

Centrest Sejour
Follow the stony pathways through the lush and tropical gardens, full of beautiful trees and flowers to find Centre Est Hotel, offering comfortable thatched en-suite rooms next to Ranomafana National Park entrance.
Rooms are practical, considering the climate, with tiled floors and whitewashed walls and there is a choice of different accommodation, either in the main hotel or a separate bungalow a little further out.
As well as being ideally located for access to Ranomafana National Park, there is also the hotel’s own private reserve 9km away in Mahakajy, where you will find 80 different species of orchid and lots of chameleons!
The lodge sits off some quaint stone pathways that meander through tropical gardens, home to lots of local flowers and trees. The main lodge has standard, air conditioned rooms, with practical tiled floors, whitewash walls and pine covered ceilings.
The rooms themselves are simple, but have all the essentials, with double or twin beds, an ensuite bathroom with showers and toilets, and mosquito nets.
On a hill slightly above the main lodge there are 9 traditionally built bungalows with thatched roofs and shared facilities, these rooms are cosier and offer spectacular views.
Eden Lodge
Eden Lodge is in a spectacular location on Baobab beach; sat in the middle of the lodge’s eight hectares of land there is always something or somewhere for you to explore.
The lodge emphasizes the importance of responsible tourism and ensuring that you leave the area that you are visiting the same or even better than when you arrived.
The lodge has an intimate and traditional atmosphere, with each of the areas of the lodge being built and decorated in a Malagasy style which the local villagers and fishermen are more than willing to talk to you about.
Each of the eight lodges have been built using as many sustainable materials as possible including; fallen trees, coconut leaves and local Anjanojano stone. Each is en-suite, has its own balcony and outdoor terrace with a private massage table.
As the lodges are positioned directly on the white sand beaches, the stunning panoramas of Baobab Beach are completely unspoilt. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves against the shore is simply bliss.
Eulophiella Lodge
Named after the Eulophiella Orchid, which grows throughout Madagascar, Eulophiella Lodge provides all the peace and tranquillity you could want when exploring the Madagascan rain-forest. The lodge is set on spacious grounds, surrounded by green grass and dotted with palms, secluded in a remote location.
There are verandas for the use of guests; where you can sit and soak up the sun or look out for some wonderful wildlife including the Indri – the largest of the lemur family, red bellied lemurs and diademed sifakas. There is also some fantastic birding here.
The lodge can arrange some great nature walks day and night, and with such a wide variety of nocturnal wildlife, this is a great experience not to be missed!
There are two types of bunglalow at the lodge, ‘Ascendants’ (The Ascending) and ‘Parfums d’Orangers’ (Scent of Orange). The 10 ‘Ascendants’ are made from wood, with palm thatched roofs.
The 7 ‘Parfums d’Orangers’ are even more spacious, similar to a junior suite, with king beds and a sitting area. These are made from brick and wood and are surrounded by a veranda.
All of the guest accommodation is en-suite, with hot water and all of the beds have large mosquito nets encompassing them.
Five Senses Lodge
